Pennies for Puppies and Ponies

"Pennies For Puppies and Ponies" is a 501c3 non-profit foundation dedicated to providing financial assistance and support to the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office K9 Unit, the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office Mounted Patrol Unit and the Snohomish County Volunteer Search and Rescue K9 Unit. This assistance and support includes, but is not limited to funding and in-kind donations for the purchase of dogs, horses, equipment, food, medical care and training.

Created in November 1996 by Marysville resident Carole Flynn White, “Pennies for Puppies” was met with immediate success through the generosity of Snohomish County citizens and businesses. By 2003 the organization had grown to include the Search and Rescue service dogs as well as sheriff’s office Mounted Patrol Unit and was renamed “Pennies for Puppies and Ponies” to better reflect its mission.
